About Us:
The Baldwin Promise Scholarship was founded in 2009, and began to award its first scholarships to the Class of 2010. The Baldwin Promise has awarded over $600,000 since its inception. The Baldwin Promise Zone Authority is the only rural Promise Zone in the State of Michigan!
The Baldwin Promise illustrates what is possible when an entire community gets involved in helping local youth build a better life through education. It stands as a powerful testament to the belief that every student, regardless of background or income, should have the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Graduates of Baldwin High School can now receive up to $9,000 a year, for 4 years at any accredited college or trade program in the state of Michigan! Imagine attending college or learning a skilled trade, and returning to uplift our community with pride and purpose. This financial support opens doors to opportunity that might have seemed out of reach — and it’s available to every eligible student at Baldwin Schools.
