North Central Michigan College is proud to offer a new beginning to your career pathway right here in beautiful northern Michigan. Located in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan, North Central is large enough to offer a full college experience but small enough to know our students personally. Since 1958, North Central has provided exceptional, accessible, relevant higher education with several different programs to choose from.

Northwestern Michigan College, where students can choose from more than 60 programs in beautiful Traverse City, on the shores of Lake Michigan. Tuition averages one-third the cost of a four-year college or university, and classes are smaller. Yet NMC offers all of the credit if you plan to transfer.

Two-year associate degrees, shorter, job-specific certificates and even two bachelor’s degrees are available, in all the fields you’d expect plus a few more, like aviation and maritime.

Montcalm Community College offers learners of all ages opportunities to earn credits for degrees, certificates, job training programs or transfer to gain skills leading to jobs in high-demand, high-wage career fields.

We offer occupational programs, transfer programs, dual enrollment and Early College programs for area high schoolers, and workforce and industrial training. You can take advantage of transfer options through the Michigan Transfer Agreement and more than 100 articulation agreements with four-year universities, which provide seamless transfer of credits.
