To Our Baldwin Panther Family:
Baldwin Community Schools will be closed Wednesday, September 1st and Thursday, September 2nd due to the student absence rate. School will resume Tuesday, September 7th. Our attendance rate is below the required 75% level required by the State to count as an instructional day.
The absence rate is largely due to non COVID illness at this time. Additional absences are related to quarantine due to COVID exposure, but there are no active COVID cases in the buildings.
We are unable to offer virtual classes at this time as the devices we purchased for those who do not have internet service were recalled. We do not know when we will receive replacements.
